Orl Fane is a character in The Sword of Shannara. He is a Gnome scavenger found by Shea Ohmsford, Panamon Creel, and Keltset.
Orl Fane found the Sword of Shannara and used it as a bargaining chip. He was also insane. He was held captive by the group and tied to a tree. After everyone went to sleep he chewed through the ropes and ran away with the Sword.
Orl Fane made his way to the Northland where his pursuers lost him. He was captured by Rock Trolls and brought to the Warlock Lord's stronghold. While in the dungeon, Orl Fane was found by Keltset, Panamon Creel, and Shea.
