The Wisteron is a character in The Elf Queen of Shannara. It was one of the Demons of Morrowindl and widely accepted as the island's most powerful Demon. It was killed by the Rover Garth and by Wren Elessedil, but the monster was so strong that Wren wasn't able to destroy it outright even with the magic of the Elfstones. Instead, she finally managed to drown the monster in a pool of boiling quicksand she created using the Elven magic.
